Good mailer from the Fred Thompson campaign........."Huckabee University." Yes, I am giving his campaign a compliment.
It is a great piece, which claims "illegals welcome" and "US citizens need not apply" to Huckabee's institution of learning. The mailer asks people to open the door to the fictional school and learn how Huckabee talks like a Republican, but governs like a Democrat. Sounds kind of like a current White House occupant. As I said in the comments last night, Thompson is going to be making a big push for 3rd in Iowa, and that can be easily achieved considering McCain and Rudy aren't even competing there. Anything less than a strong 3rd in Iowa and I think Thompson is done, especially when you consider he has zero traction in New Hampshire. When you look at the recent Huckabee surge, the numbers tell you he is taking voters away not from Mitt Romney, but from Fred and Rudy (more so). I think Thompson is making the right move by now focusing on Iowa and another person competing hard to tear down Huckabee there is always welcome.

Ouch for the Phils.
On the Thompson campaign, some polls(aggragated) have him in single digits in Iowa. Rasmussen has him with 9 percent. Way behind Mitt and Mike. He's got to get off his duff and campaign like crazy in the next 2 plus weeks.
Oops. I guess those Phils aren't on the Mitchell list.

I dont get why some names were there - like Dykstra and Canseco. People have known that for years. Or why someone like GlenAllen Hill was on the list, that guy hasnt played for like 7 years.

This list proves nothing. There are SO many other players who used performance enhancers that are not on this list.
